Welcome, this is my go-to guide for some seriously good coffee alongside playgrounds, parks & spaces that are kid/family friendly!
A relatively local guide if you’re a Northern Beaches local (Karrinyup, Scarborough, Trigg. Etc) with a few out-of-area cafés added into the mix, for a change of scenery on the days you’re feeling a little more ‘brave heart’.

Located in the heart of Scarborough, this fully fenced nature playground is a popular little spot! With activities for bubba’s through to older kiddo’s. This cafe is sure to suit a mixed-age catch-up! Delicious coffee is a bonus!

A family-run business, this café thrives on being a welcoming space for the whole fam, fur babies included! You will find all the good things here, locally sourced food, coffee, gifts & crafts.

A great spot to visit for a catch-up with friends, or somewhere to take the kids to burn off some energy (while you have coffee of course). There is also a little “dog house” where you can tie up your furry friend in the shade whilst they play!

Owned by a young family & located opposite Disbrey Park, this fun spot serves great coffee, delicious pizza bread toasties & sourdough cinnamon scrolls! Your kids will love their school holiday pizza-making classes!

Located opposite the Snake Pit & Whale Park. Cleopatra is an Egyptian styled restaurant serving great coffee & Insta worthy dishes. Hop across the road once finished & let the kids burn off their energy!

Part of the Scarborough pool complex, this quirky little spot caters to the kiddie’s pool plus the beautiful grass patch outside. Sit on a bean bag or grab some takeaway & stroll down to the beach.

Located in City Beach opposite the huge Beecroft Park, Mary Street has a huge assortment of incredible treats! Bring a picnic blanket & ball, then head across to the playground to enjoy!
CANTEEN TRIGG
Canteen Trigg is a rocking northern suburbs beachside cafe that has been heaving since its opening in 2016. With its wholefoods focused tray menu along with espresso, juices, smoothie bowls, raw treats and snacks.

A historic farm, renovated to perfection. Prepare to be wooed by the view & food! For the kids, aside from the large area of grass, they will discover a mini cafe, balancing beams, and a well-stocked toy box. Get in early, tables fill fast!
KOORAK CAFÉ
Hidden in Kings Park, Biara Cafe is a great spot to meet Grand Parents & friends. From most of the seating, you can keep an eye on the kids while they play. A gated playground offers a sense of security whilst you enjoy your treats.

Located at the lovely Leighton Beach, this spot is the ultimate for families on a beautiful sunny Perth day. Offering an extensive kids menu, you can opt to stay & laze on the lawn or take away to enjoy the beach. BONUS; this is a dog beach also!

Located on the outside of the Roselea Shopping Centre in Stirling, this is a great place for kid-friendly coffee catch-ups. Complete with a kids menu, playground & colouring in, this little local ticks all of the boxes.

A beautiful & lush family-friendly cafe with a garden dining area that features a big fenced kids outdoor play area. This Gnangara hidden gem will have you returning time & time again!

This quirky Willagee cafe has a secret back garden that the kids will love exploring! Sit & enjoy the leafy green alfresco dining whilst the kiddos keep busy investigating the abundance of plants & flowers. Spot a small play area too!
With many clients, friends & family members who love catching up over coffee but need something to keep their little bee’s busy. And as a step mum myself, I get it; coffee is sanity in a cup, particularly if the kids are happily playing & active. I hope this guide helps!
