Honest and Reliable

Dirk made me aware when doing the appraisal that the time to sell wasn’t quite right and advised me to wait around 6 months, unlike the other real estate agents who wanted my business immediately despite the market uncertainty. After that time my house was worth more, so it paid off and I appreciate Dirk’s honesty. When it came to selling Dirk was always communicating openly and set up realistic expectations with me and the buyers. The Davey Real Estate team, and specifically Dirk were great. Since we moved back to Australia in June, our experience has been that selling agents have shown little interest in best serving the needs of prospective buyers. Outstanding!

From the very beginning it was clear Dirk was a professional and knew what conditions were best for the sale. As a seller living out of state Dirk went above and beyond to handle all in person activities getting the house ready and kept me updated at all times. He was contactable at all times and returned emails and calls promptly. Under Dirk’s guidance the house was tidied up and staged beautifully. Dirk gave easy to understand information on market conditions and listing price, and we were off to the races! The advert was fantastic quality, the copy highlighted the property brilliantly and the photos were just right. Within 24hrs of the open home I had four offers. Dirk worked with the buyers to negotiate prices and we ended up with a fantastic price and contract signed the next day! Dirk was a pleasure to work with and I can’t recommend Dirk highly enough.

Dirk provided a service that went above and beyond. I was overseas for most of the process and Dirk patiently and diligently assisted us through consummate advice and working with local tradespeople to accelerate those small jobs required to make our home presentable for the sale.

Excellent, professional and friendly

Buying a house in this market isnt easy. I spoke to Dirk during one of his house opens and I think he new what we were looking for. Just about to give up as all the houses were getting snapped up, Dirk found us our dream home, central to everything and my wife loves to bits.
